UW DAWGSTAR NANOSATELLITE

The University of Washington Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering is designing a nanosatellite for inclusion in the ION-F nanosatellite formation.  The ION-F mission is characterized by a formation of three nanosatellites which navigate with respect to one another.  The ION-F formation will conduct ionospheric studies in its orbit of 375 kilometers during the mission life.  This project is in response to the Air Force request for proposals, driven by the TechSat 21 project.
